Censorship, or any restriction on the free flow of information, has got to be a key concern for any U.S. citizen - or world citizen, for that matter - to keep informed and have a say in democratic society.

if we the Citizen's of the united states do not stay vigilant on standing up for our individually guarranteed rights as per Our Constitution, we are forever in risk of losing each and every one!!!
talking about censorship... I don't know whether if I am freaking out because of all the Hollywood movies that show the ability of government agency to filter our activities on the net. They use it to prevent another terrorist attack on U.S soil, but on the other hand, all of our activities on the net are under surveillance. What makes us different from China then?
Press in United States is free enough to report any news from its own government. It is clarified by many "scandal" which come to the surface because of the work of the press. United States have a proud tradition of its own freedom of speech which proven its result from the beginning to nowdays.
pers=democracy
I think pers is the one who play the big role to make sure that freedom in a democracy country keep going.
the duty of pers is to make sure that every news can be delivered to people, therefore if there is restriction, people can misunderstand about an issue.
pers also responsible for people's act, for example if there is a voting to be governor, pers must inform to people the background of the candidates therefore people can choose the governor based on their judgement. if there is a restriction people can misunderstand and choose the wrong one.
So i think to make sure that the freedom of speech in this country secure, there must be not any strict censorship of pers.
